How To Get Your Ex Back In Under 24 Hours
Want to get your ex back in less than one day? Sure, it can’t always be done, but often times you can get your ex back in under 24 hours. While every break up is unique, the ways to get back together are essentially the same. For this article, we’ll assume that you cheated on your mate and they gave you the boot. The approach we’ll discuss will often work for any break up where you screwed up and wronged your mate in some way.
First thing to do is come up with a five to seven step written plan of what you want to say. We will cover most of those steps now. To begin with, you need to take responsibility for what you did. You need to fess up to your ex. You need to call and say “I screwed up! I cheated on you and I know it was wrong.”
This initial step is important because it shows your ex that you can be an adult and admit when you screwed up. It tells them that you know what you did was wrong. This is much better than saying “I was drunk” or “you were cold to me.” You can’t get your mate back quickly if you can’t take responsibility!
The second thing to do is to emotionally mirror your ex. Let them know you sense some of the pain you have caused them. Say something like “I know by cheating on you I broke your trust and made you feel betrayed, and ashamed, and hurt…” Can you see the power in this step? It lets your mate know you can empathize, and will help your ex to open up to you in the next step.
Letting your mate know that you can mirror their feelings is very powerful when you want to get your ex back fast. It can help them to start to come out from behind their walls of hate or anger towards you. Try not to skip this step!
Now the next step is crucial. The most important of all. Now that you have fessed up and now that you have mirrored your ex’s hurt feelings, you then ask something like “and how did my cheating on you make you feel?”
This allows your ex to vent. This is critical to getting your ex back fast. Your ex has a heart full of negative feelings towards you. Their negative feelings have replaced their positive feelings for you. You can NEVER get them back until you help them to RELEASE their negative feelings and resolve them.
How do you help someone release their negative feelings? You let them vent. Get them off their chest. And the best way is to let them vent all over you! Don’t argue with what they say, don’t defend yourself, let them tell you how what you did made them feel. The more they get out, the more they release their bad feelings towards you and make room in their heart for forgiveness and love.
If you can do these three steps before you apologize, you are WAY AHEAD of the game. You will stand out to your ex as someone who has the courage to admit when they are wrong. Someone who can mirror their emotional state, and someone who can listen to them and help them to release all those negative feelings.
You can’t always get your ex back in 24 hours, but using this system you can get them back faster than you may have ever thought possible. The key to making it happen fast is not fast talking your ex, but letting him or her talk and vent and get their negative feelings about what you did off their chest. When you can do that, you have a real chance at helping to heal the break up in record time.
So in a situation where you cheated on your ex, which is usually a relationship killer, it can seem like you are miles apart and they will never forgive you. They will often tell you they will never forgive you at loud volume. It can seem hopeless.
However, using this formula, you can take a situation that seems hopeless and within a fifteen minute to half an hour phone call you can drastically reduce the hurt feelings of your ex and move them to a place where they can forgive you. You can go from hopeless to hopeful in less than one day. Whether they take you back right away or not, you can start the process.
