replacing curbside mailbox with a wall mount?
The current curbside mailbox has been beat up and knocked down, by the large amount of pedestrians who walk by the house to a nearby bus stop. Do i need to notify the post office if i want to replace my curbside mailbox with a wall mount right outside the front door?
I doubt your letter carrier will let you replace your curbside box with a wall-mounted box. Unless you have some type of medical condition that will not allow you to walk to your mail box, you will have to have a curbside box. Or, if your neighborhood has a restriction against curbside boxes, you could get a wall mount.
