A “DIY” Mask
As the Halloween is knocking at the door, everyone is busy preparing for the coming holiday. Are you confused that you have not gotten a fashionable and fascinating mask that is different from others? Do you want to be the key figure at the party? Are you inclined to have your mask made all by yourself? Now, do not be confused to think about where to buy a mask. Let’s start right now to make our own masks.
First, you should fetch a pair of glasses which can be determined by yourself. You can choose any kind as long as you like. Since we are inclined to use few materials to make the mask, we must take good advantages of things which are at hand. Glasses are such kind of materials that you can easily find in your daily life, because almost of the teenagers have poor eyesight nowadays. But now it can be useful when you make the mask.
After you choose the type of your glasses, a piece of cardboard is necessary for you. You’d better use cardboards with different kinds of colors so that it will look much beautiful. You can also draw some pictures on the cardboard with your own paintbrush. Then, put your glasses on the cardboard. Use your scissors to cut the edge of glasses. Other kinds of things are also useful, such as colorful feathers, dried leaves and different cloth. Then, you should soup up your mask. Put the feathers, leaves or cloth on the cardboard. Use your glue to stick the stuff on the edge of the cardboard.
When you finish the cardboard, you can cut out the shape of the mask. Any shape is acceptable, so you can cut into those types that other people can hardly imagine. Then, tie the cardboard on your glasses with two short ropes. Therefore, you have finished your mask. After you make your mask, put it on and show it to your friends. You can imagine that they will be shocked when they see your own mask.
It is really cool. Now, you have made your own mask. Put it on and let’s go to the party. I am sure you will be extremely charming.
