can anyone give me info on who made the bow and arrow??
I have so far that it was made like 10,000 years ago and the man who made it was Fon Dahomey and i cant find anything else please help i have searched everywhere and if u give a useful source i will choose u as best answer THANK U SO MUCH!!!! by the way here r the things to look for ^^ if u can : History of the bow and arrow, the Tribe it came from, where the tribe was located, Benifit and any other important facts THANK U SOOO MUCH U HAVE NO CLUE HOW MUCH THIS MEANS TO ME

Prehistoric fossilized bows have been found and tribes around the world have used the bow and arrow for hunting game for tens of thousands of years, but the bow wasn’t used for war until…
The English produced the first military low bow around 1270 and used them decisively through-out the Hundred Years War. But it was under King Harold II …that the English made the low bow famous by winning the Battle of Agincourt in 1415 against the Normans, badly led by Duke William of Normandy.
The French (without long bows) fought along side the Brits in this battle, but Charles VI of France stayed home sick that day (and I do mean France), so his lackeys led their army. Because the long bows had great range, the Brits mowed down the Normans before they could get close enough to do hand-to-hand battle, which is all they were equipt to do. The Normans literally turn and ran, at least the ones who were alive and could still run! Sure made an easy day for the French …looks like they didn’t need Charles anyways.
We’ve come a long way …from killing Bambi for food to killing Normans for God and country! Dam Normans.
