Back to Basics

It's human nature. We are naturally lazy. We are always looking for a more easy to do things. And believe it or not, for the most part, this has been good for us. The relaxing day of "what is or never" to us a shirt. Our ancestors realized that the planting of crops and livestock was more efficient than hunting and gathering. That allowed them to spend less time "working" and also gave them greater security against the vagaries of nature. That allowed them to build better housing and pool resources to maximize their collective efforts. The result Ultimately, of course, it is civilization as we know it. That we are more efficient work of working lees leaving more time for leisure. While our basic nature to find a better or more simple way has been a benefit to us but can also be our Achilles heel. In the story of Achilles, his mother tried to make him immortal as a baby by immersion in the Styx. As she sank, she caught him by one heel and forgot about it drop a second time to hold the heel could get wet too. Therefore, the place where she had remained untouched by the magic water of the Styx and the that was mortal or vulnerable. Similarly, our basic nature, while good and beneficial, often allows others to take advantage of us. That allows other Use our desire to make things simpler or easier for us to sell ideas and products that we offer hope to do so. Think about it. Diet products, programs and exercise equipment sales have increased almost exponentially in the United States in the last 20 years. However, as a nation, we are frankly, more fatter than ever. If we are using these products and services more than ever should not we see some results? Are these products and services do not work, or is it our nature that leads from one product to another in search of an easier way? The magic pill, the Silver Bullet work is not in the diet. While there are worthless products taking advantage of our basic nature I think the real problem is that nature itself. In terms of weight and fitness, we all know the basics of what is needed to lose weight. We must burn more calories we consume. We can do this by eating less (diet) and let our natural metabolism stay the same or consumption the same and increasing our metabolic production through some form of exercise. Of course, science has shown us that a little of both in combination, diet and exercise works best.
There are products that can give us the extra "push" we may need. It has certainly been a lot of scientific experiments on diet products that involve their effectiveness as part of an overall strategy. Unfortunately we often forget the part of the strategy and just focus on the part of hope – the place where "X has been shown to accelerate product weight loss by 15%" We forget that part of work and focus on the easy part. We tend to do this in our business. People often ask me what I really need to build your business. Then are disappointed when I tell them something they feel they have heard before. "It's so basic," I say. Yes it is. But are you really doing the basics?
Tools and concepts are important. The implementation of various marketing ideas such as e-mail and marketing collateral can be very effective. However, use them as a solution themselves. But the underlying fundamentals, without the knowledge, skill and a solid strategy to back it up, have only a marginal chance of work. "But the basics are boring and they take so much work. "Yes, indeed. Success in any way it is. If you want to improve your health, cutting its weight or stop smoking will take some work. There are tools to help you, but the real magic comes from his determination to succeed, the desire of his heart is. There is much truth in the saying that "nothing worth having is easy."
Success in network marketing is like that too. There are tools and resources to make your business easier. But ultimately, success comes down to the basics, the fundamentals of understanding of our perspectives, effectively building relationships and understanding of the marketing process. It is these basics that have built long period of time companies successful again.
